I don't know why we hadn't been all the way up this creek before. I had been to the top cascades listed in Adams' book, but that's it. I had talked with Bernie a few days back and he had just been in that area, so I got the map out and wondered why we hadn't been all the way up that creek before. Bernie couldn't go - you missed another '10', Bernie - so it was just going to be Harry and me. Cathy called Friday evening just after I got there, asking what we were up to and she decided to come along also. Here we are at the end of the ascent with Harry on top of the rock. You may recognize that rock if you've ever been to the top cascades.
