Platalea ajaja

Last month I had an afternoon out in High Island at the Smith Oaks Sanctuary to photograph Roseate Spoonbills. This place is definitely at the top of the list when it comes to spoonbills with its large breeding colony. Though my time was limited I managed to catch a few shots that made me smile.
