WELCOME to my photographic web page. I hope you enjoy the images posted here. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger image. This collection began as a way to share with friends images taken during a winter 2004 trip to China without clogging their email boxes. The results from that trip convinced me that digital was the way to go. I immediately sold my film cameras and went all digital.
These images were taken using a progression of film and digital cameras from Minolta, Mamiya, and Canon. Minolta includes cameras ranging from an SRT 101 to their professional cameras, Mamiya includes an RB-67 and a 645 1000-S, Canon includes everything from a Rebel EOS to a 1D. Lenses range in length from 15mm to 1200mm. As sharp as some appear here, all images have been considerably reduced in size, resolution and detail from the original RAW files.
I am now adding older images scanned from slides or negatives. A few are well over 50 years old and may not be of the same quality and sharpness as those taken with more modern equipment. The NEW UPLOADS gallery contains the latest shots. After a period of time they are moved to the other galleries.
IF YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU PARTICULARLY APPRECIATE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
