Message from Gill Kopy
Welcome to my galleries. My world has turned around since acquiring a digital camera and by some miracle getting a contract to photograph the nearby Village of Fraser Lake for a Provincial web site. We live in a beautiful part of B.C., on Francois Lake which is roughly 100 kms. long and 1 - 2 kms. wide. The opportunities for landscape and nature photography are limitless here, and being retired (from owning a fishing and hunting resort), have the time and enthusiasm to immerse myself into it.
My biggest regret is that I didn't get serious about photography earlier when my husband and I travelled to wonderful places in Africa, Malaysia, Caribbean, Europe, etc. We took photos, but I've learned so much since then - and I have a lot of catching up to do.
Many of the photographers on PBase are truly inspirational and I'm looking forward to seeing the world from now on, from a whole new angle !
Anyone taking time to give advice or criticism is very much appreciated.
